On Friday we took a Year 3 and a Year 4 team to a football tournament at Penair. The teams were put into separate groups and each won their first three games, setting up the prospect of an all-Bosvigo final. Unfortunately, our Year 3 team lost their final group game to St Mary’s and this meant that our two teams met in the semi-finals.
In a close game, our Year 4s came out on top, winning 2-0 and setting up a final with St Mary’s. Now tiring, our team worked very hard to win 1-0 and were delighted to become the tournament champions.
Both teams played brilliantly on the day and showed that Bosvigo has a bright footballing future ahead.
