Oscar in ‘hair raising’ stunt to raise money for the NHS!

After hearing about someone else shaving their head for charity, Oscar from Class 8 decided that he wanted to join in. Oscar has raised £160 (including £20 of his own pocket money) to buy Easter eggs for the children and staff working on the children’s ward at the Royal Cornwall Hospital. Oscar and his mum purchased and delivered them earlier this week. Sainsbury’s were wonderful and gave them £60 worth of free eggs – so they are donating this additional money to the Air Ambulance as Oscar has his name on the new helicopter and is an avid fan. Well done, Oscar, so thoughtful and we hope your head is not too cold without all that lovely blonde hair! Here’s a picture of the ‘before’ and ‘after’!
