Green Schools Project

Thanks to a £6000 Green Schools Our Future grant, we have begun an exciting project to bring wildlife into our all-too-grey Key Stage 2 playground.
With the help of some lovely volunteers last Saturday and some super-keen Class 10 pupils this week, we have been able to complete our first planter complete with a young grisilinia hedge.

Over the coming weeks, we will be building further planters around the boundary, as well as installing a living wall, a wildlife pond, a minibeast haven, a (very small!) wildflower meadow and hopefully a willow den. If you would like to help with our project, please let the office know, as FOBSA are arranging working groups on some Saturday mornings and Thursdays after school.
